Adventure for Pho Noodle Soup for the beginners.
If this is your first time enjoying Pho or if simply prefer a tender lean cut of beef, this is the right choice. The steak or brisket will be slightly cooked by the boiling broth to the perfect medium by the time the order reaches the table. You have a choice of Tai (eye round steak), Nam (fat brisket), Gau (weldon shank), Bo Vien (meat ball), or beef noodle combo (which has all of them). If you want something lighter, you can choose Ga (chicken) or vegetable. The Pho comes with a side plate of beansprouts, cilantro, basil, jalapenos and lemon.

We know how hard it is to find a healthy restaurant in San Antonio. Well, this little guide will not only help you locate a heathly eatery, but also find the healthiest items on the menu. Or, if you have a gathering you have to attend and not sure of what to eat, email us at getfitsatx@yahoo.com with the name of the restaurant and we will let you know what you should eat and what you should stay away from.

Healthy Alternative:

Instead of.....

When ordering your child his Kids meal, ask the attendant if there is a healthier alternative instead of the fries. If you have ever noticed the fries that accidentally fall out of the bag and stay in your car for about a month, well you finally find them, they look the same! Now that cannot be good, especially  if it goes into your child. Ask for fruit, or apple wedges. I certainly do not want this to stick around in my child for years to come. Let’s get together and change this childhood obesity epidemic one child at a time.
